07 cc ds gas
I am trying to get more speed and was told to take the ground off the limiter. I did and put in a tach. I keep it at 3500 to 3700 then it stops until I let up on the pedal than a small backfire and starts again. ?????? Also I bought 6 to 1 gears. Will I still be able to have 2 in the cart and go up a hill. I'm in the villages . I know cartfixer is here he helped me with my rolls Royce cart. Any help would be great.

Sounds to me the rev limiter is still hooked up. I have read that some of the newer ones have the rev limter built in to the coil.
However I don't know what year this change was made. Mine is an 06 and has the external limiter. |
