Missing Piece???
hey guys... 90 club car... I'm thinking there ought to be some type of rubber mount in this pic? Doesn't look like anything has ever been there, but when trail riding it bounces up and down and slams pretty hard at times. Am I missing a piece here? Thanks!

Re: Missing Piece???
Its the front mount rubber that is missing. It slides in on the flat of powertrain plate.

Re: Missing Piece???
I believe there should be a rubber isolator that should slide over that flat piece to avoid the rattle you're talking about.

It's called a "Snubber"! Snubber 3.jpg Most of BGW's fine sponsors have them! Click>>> http://www.cartpartsplus.com/snubber-for-club-car |

Re: Missing Piece???
In that pic, the holes are 3" center to center... and the snubber didn't sit quite right!
I've since shortened it to 2" center to center! Note: Depending on the year of your cart, you may have to modify your intake tube when lowering your snubber mount! Intake hose.jpg 033.JPG |

Thanks Lockman! I saw the other posts about the extension for the air hose. What did you use for that, some kind of plumbing elbow and a flexible coupler?

Re: Missing Piece???
As far as the intake, the part number i used is briggs 691368. it is an upswept intake part that will need a slight modification to work. It needs a barbed fitting added and there was something with the mounting surface where the nuts seated that needed attention, but I don't remember exactly what it was.
I am not sure the part that lockman1 has is the exact one I used though. After the intake is used it is off to the plumbing store! I think I was able to adapt part of an old radiator hose I had laying about. |
