05 Precedent Blowing White Smoke
i have an 05 precedent that has just started blowing a bit of white smoke, not a massive amount, but enough. Still runs fine and puts out the normal amount of power. I use it for transport in very dusty and off road conditions. What could be causing this? Is it serious? Is it likely to be expensive to fix?

99 club car blowing white smoke but smells of oil? Other causes beside oil blowing past rings or valve guides?

White smoke on a regular car is indicative of a coolant leak into the combustion chamber. Precedent's are air cooled though. Any chance the air filter got soaked with water? Kind of a stretch but that's my only guess.

Over filling the engine with oil will make it smoke also!
 I over filled my cart when it was only a year old, it started to smoke, drained some of the oil, and it hasn't smoked since!  |

A pluged oil return in the head will also cause it to smoke.
