Default My 2000 CC DS lost spark

My 2000 club car ds lost spark today. It was running fine this morning with no problems. It turns over fine... I thought it was the carb so I cleaned it but, it wasn't take. I replaced the spark plug and snap it into the spark plug wire and grounded it out on the motor and no spark. I checked also all the grounds on the cart and all of them are good. What could it be???

The 2 most common problems with loosing spark on a Kawi FE engine are either the Rev limiter, or the Coil is bad.

First check the Rev limiter, (lower front of the engine #22)
Remove (do not cut) the ground wire that attaches to the left hand mounting bolt,
reinstall the mounting bolt, (without the wire) tape up the eyelet, and see if it starts and runs,
If so... you have a bad Rev limiter, and they're not cheap! so if you don't have the $ to replace it,
and IF... the governor is set at the factory settings, you can leave the ground disconnected.
I, personally would suggest replacing the limiter though!

If it still won't start, then in most cases it'll be the coil, (#20) and it's not fun replacing it!

Limiter ground wire and bolt is at #13

hope this helps!

It was the rev limiter.
