Stupid DS Question...
Im stripping it to prepare for dipping it....I want to replace the factory rocker panels with chrome or treadplate.
Do the stock aluminum/rubber pieces come off or are the aftermarket ones just covers? I got the rubber piece out but cannot figure out how to get them off. |

Re: Stupid DS Question...
Judging by the illustrated parts list for my 1998 DS, and this listing of rockers, it looks like they're just inserts.

Re: Stupid DS Question...
Yes the aluminum is permanently welded to the frame. The welds could be cut to remove/replace but you would need to figure a new way to attach what you want.
