"Hill Brake" won't engage 06 club car ds
Hey guys, Any Ideas what to try first on my hill brake. It will only lock in place if I pull the gas pedal back while pushing on the hill brake.

Re: "Hill Brake" won't engage 06 club car ds
Welcome to BGW dragshovel!
My 07 did the same thing when I readjusted the brake pedal travel after I put a lift on it. (The GO pedal would move slightly down, when trying to set the hill brake) The "Park brake pawl" adjustment is pretty easy, but it takes a few times to get it "just right". paragraph 4.2 in the first pic is the most crucial! click pics to enlarge: hill brake1.jpg hillbrake2.jpg hillbrake3.jpg Hope this helps! |

Make sure the shaft bushings are not worn out. If you can move your gas pedal from left to right, they probably need replaced. You can sometimes adjust your brake paw to buy some time.
