Default 92 gas club car hesitates

When I push the gas pedal it hesitates for 3 - 5 seconds before it takes off. I have had my starter/generator checked by a professional and it's good. I checked my battery and it's 13.1 VDC and when I push the pedal it's 12.78 VDC. I checked my ground straps and replaced 1 in question. It seems to be worse when the engine is warm.

It does nothing. It's not turning over.
I haven't been able to get it to do it when I have the back tires off the ground. Only under a load. No belt slipping.

is the starter generator running as soon as you hit the pedal? if not you may have a solenoid thats getting some resistance and when warm it would act worse , the are continuous duty so you have to make sure you can check your this theory by having the key on jump the solenoids large posts with a screwdriver , be sure to do this with the wheels up air or in netural by moving the shifter to the middle position and yellow plastic cup on the back of the shifter pulled out and rotated to let it start in netural then test to make sure the cart doesnt move when you go to start it before you test the solenoid

The starter is not running. About 90% of the time after I have run it for a little bit playing golf, I push the pedal and it does absolutely nothing for 3 - 5 seconds before it starts and takes off. Every know and then I hear a slite whining sound like its slow to get enough voltage to go.

clean all terminals and ends going from the battery to the solenoid and the starter generator also clean the ground strap connections and ground cable from the battery to the frame, see what you have then , you may want to swap the solenoid out being that its the cheapest at 20 or so bucks , if that dont fix it then you need to pull the starter generator and either rebuild it or replace it . but before i do any of that take the battery out and take it to a parts store and have it load tested . either way you have major resistance coming from somewhere whether it be ground straps , solenoid , starter or the cables themselves , you need to get out the old multimeter and start testing

I'll try that. I have a load tester to check my battery. I'll try all that you mentioned tomorrow. I'm beginning to think my starter is bad even though I had it tested last year and it didn't help my problem. I cleaned all my ground straps and replaced one of them. I also cleaned the matting surfaces. I'll try again. Thanks for your help!
