Default 2001 Club Car Carryall 6--Gas Kawasaki

Alright Guys, I am new to this forum so please forgive me if not posted right.

Ive had a few other golf carts before that I found and flipped here in texas, but I picked up a 2001 Club Car Carryall 6 with a big cargo carrier on the back of it. I want to keep the cart and not flip it, but I may have to if cant get it running

So, the fuel filters look clean as day, air filter looks brand new, I changed the spark plug, took the carb off (which was stuck in the open position and gunked up ) cleaned it and it opens and closes freely now. I charged the battery, Motor turns over but it wont fire, I tried carb cleaner and everything.

this cart has everything I want except a lift and a stereo. hell it has blinkers and a cab!!! please help me out I dont want to flip it!!!

I installed a new spark plug and bought new brushes today, I also ordered another carb online because this one is still sticking

The fuel pump pumps fuel, cause it will shoot out when I disconnect the line.

So, when I check the spark plug ignitor, should I place the tip of the spark plug on the muffler to see if its sparking? I drive a diesel so Im not too familiar with spark plugs.

Ill be changing the parts friday and adding new fuel friday, so I will update.

I appreciate your insight Boomer1031

You can use a screwdriver grounded out to side of case or they have at any autopart store A spark adapter that plugs right into your plug and on top of sparkplug either way just so u can see if your getting spark.

Alright man, after talking with some electricians. Im prety sure the battery isnt getting a good ground to the frame. Ive alread replaced brushes in the generator. The others were shot!!...

Anyways Im going to try and work on it a little here and there until I get my carb in. Once that comes in I hope it will fire up!!! other wise its off to the repair shop!!!
