Reverse lights HELP
Hi Im wondering if someone can help. I am trying to install reverse lights on 2 2001 club car ds gas models and cant seem to get it to stop blowing fuses. The light is a 15 watt led so low power draw, I added an extra fuse to try to minimize issues but nothing I am trying will work. I am trying to pull the power directly from the reverse buzzer wiring and it will blow the fuse I installed or the single 10 amp fuse in the oem fuse block. It blows the fuse as soon as you engage reverse, I have tested the lamp and checked all my wiring and everything is correct. Is the lamp just too much load for the circuit? Can this be done so when you engage reverse the lights turn on automatic? Thank You to anyone who can help

There's 48 volts of the back up beeper. You need a reducer or use a limit switch off the f/r switch lever. Same as the ones for the brake light on the pedal.

Is there 48 volts on a gas model too? I have a gas ds and if I test the red/white striped wire it reads 12 volts. |

Re: Reverse lights HELP
Swan took a Swan dive on that one
Not sure what the problem is with the fuse blowing but, There is 12 volts on a gas cart, not 48 volts |

Re: Reverse lights HELP
I got it one of the led's I bought is defective, weird thing is if I put a jump pack to the light it works but not on the cart. I moved onto the other cart I have and that light worked fine . Then switched lights from cart to cart and same thing popping fuses. Thanks for the quick replies/suggestions.
