Question 1996 Gas Club Car leaking oil on to the drive belt

I have a 1996 Club Car DS. The problem I am having is I have an oil leak that I cannot find. The oil is all over the drive belt and starter belt. It doesn't seem to affect the starter belt as much as it does the drive belt. When I try to accelerate the cart will barely move. Once i do get going, even the smallest hills are a challenge.

Just wondering if anyone has came upon this problem in the past.

Thanks in advance

The Seal or gasket. You will have to pull the engine. Took mine out in a couple hours. Check your compression- [156lbs for a FE290] before you yank it out incase you need a top end rebuild. Did a top end rebuild and drive clutch rebuild on mine for about $250.00 . runs like a champ.

Also check your oil filler tube. one bolt take it off there is a gasket on the end that could be bad.

Thanks for the input on this. I think i will try to clean all the oil off the engine, and hopefully pinpoint where it is coming from. I have planned on having to pull the engine to repair this. I didnt think to check the oil filler tube, I was just assuming it was coming out of the crank case. Ill try to get some pictures of it on here soon.
