Default Madjax lift kits

Have any of you bought a lift kit from madjax? If so can you tell me what you think? It's an a-arm lift. I want to go 6 inch. Any input is good. How did the install go? How did it ride after?

Got one on my 04 ds. Had it put on but I like it. Good travel and not too stiff a ride

I have the exact lift kit you are looking at installed on my 2000 CC DS FE290. The install went fairly easy. Couple of things I noticed. The spring is real close to the bolt, so it is a little bit of a pain getting a wrench on it to get it to mount to the frame. Make sure you have your open end wrenches around :-) Also, the bolts going up to what we would normally refer to the king pin you definitely need to lock tite. The bottom ones are the ones to keep an eye on, they are the ones that will like to back out. Other than that, really nice lift kit and I like it a lot. Oh yeah, almost forgot, if you haven't replaced your tie rod ends, 3 of them, now is the time to do it.. They are cheap enough and I found it to be a good thing to do at this time anyway.

Can you guys take a measurement for me please? I picked up some 4 wheeler rims and tires for really cheap. They are 24x9x11 and 24x8x12. Do you think they will fit with that set up. Do you think I will need spacers for the rims? I am really hoping that they will fit.

What did you set the alignment at? directions say 1/4 to 3/8" wider in front (toe out) every other lift is set to 1/8 to 1/4" narrower in front (toe in).
Just installed mine with the same issues you saw. we will see.

1/4" wider in front is what I set it to. Oh yeah, the other thing I did was put the nut on the bottom near the spring, otherwise I noticed that the bolt and nut might hit the top arm when it travels down. Doing it this way allows the arm at the top full travel without hitting the nut and bolt.

Also take a measurement and make sure the front lift assembly is square before tightening the 4 bolts down.
