How do I wire an accessory plug to be hot only when key on?
I've got a 2000 gasser Club Car. I am adding an accessory plug/cig lighter. It has a lighted ring around it so I don't want it hot all the time (so it doesn't drain the battery). I only want it hot when the key is on. Anyone know how I wire that? Would I run the hot wire from the plug to one of the posts on the solenoid (and add a 20 amp inline fuse) or to one of the posts on the key starter (and ad a 20 amp fuse)?

you should use a relay term. 30 to 12v, 87 to your lighter 12v in, 87A is not used, 85 to ground in, and 86 to 12v from ign.
