Default Brakes

I only had one brake working on my 95 DS so I took a look at the one not working and the shoes are bad. The drum looked good no scares in the metal but there is a ridge on the outside. My question is do I need to take the drums and have them measured and if so what should they measure?
Thanks

If you have a ridge at the outer lip of the drum it needs replacing. There are no specs for turning these drums.

Have not found a single place to turn golf cart drums. I might suggest getting new drums.

Is your cart lifted? I found out after lifting mine that the lift had stretched the driver's side cable to the point where it messed up the way the brakes work. The equalizer directly under the floorboard was pulling the brakes unevenly, and I think the driver's side was dragging a bit.

Thanks everyone, I have sent for two drums and two sets of brake shoes.
That should fix my problems.
