What engine is in my 84 ds club car?
I just bought a 84 cc. I can't seem to find out whagt engine I have..The site to download a manual starts at 85 for gas. That sais 344 Kawasaki flat head. Mine is a flat head.. Only thing I can find on the engine is a club car sticker. I read something that said mabee a 341cc? But didn't saw it was a Kawasaki. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks I'm a newbie first cart.

Pretty sure that the 1984 Club Car DS has the Kawasaki KF82 Flathead motor

Yes it is the Kawasaki KF82 flathead motor, 341cc. 1984 was the first year Club Car manufactured gas carts. You'll have to look underneath the cart towards the bottom of the motor on the passenger side down near the clutch to see the serial number, it's stamped into the side.
