Question 1993 Club Car~~CARB Problems;( Or??

my hunting cart a 1993 Gas Club Car, when you try to start it floods :(...you smell gas..wait 15 to 20 min and it starts...PERFECT~~~and rest of the day it starts fine and runs GREAT!!!!

Cleaned carb...new gas line...new gas filter...added seafoam....NADA!!

and idea on what to do????...deer season is here and I want to use my cart --thanks!!!!

You said you cleaned the carb, did you clean the needle and seat in the float bowl? Sounds like you may have a tiny leak there: the float bowl overfills slowly while the cart sits unused over a few days/week(s), causing it to flood when you first start it. Then it runs fine after that because the leak is too slow to flood the bowl during normal, frequent operation. If you did clean the needle & seat, maybe you need a new needle pintle.

yes the needle and seat were cleaned as well...I took the cart to a friend of mines golf cart shop watched him clean it...very little trash if any in it ( bowl) ...he cleaned the needle and it ran perfect that afternoon in the woods. The next morning the same thing...floods to start..wait a few and then runs fine. I will check the float..that makes sense. THANKS!!

I cleaned mine I thought..then I went and bought a ultrasonic cleaner bout 70 bucks there was a lot of junk in there,now both carts run good and wifes jewelry is clean .. now she doesn't mind the price

took ground wire off RPM limiter....and no more problems!!!!
