shoes for secondary clutch
I searched for shoes for the driven clutch on my 92 ParCar and the only thing I have found is a set of 3 for $75. Any suggestions on where I could get them cheaper? At that cost, I am more likely to pay the extra and get an entirely new clutch since the bushing is also starting to wear out.

Re: shoes for secondary clutch
Don't know but I believe your cart uses a "Comet" style clutch which you can get new for around $150. I don't know 90s carts that well so don't quote me on that though. If this is case I would say pony up and replace the whole thing. You won't have to think about it for another 20 years.

Thanks for the reply. It looks like for some reason, the 92 clutch is different and the cheapest i can find is $300.

Re: shoes for secondary clutch
I'm helping a friend that has a mixed breed 80-90 cart and was amazed to find that there were at least 3 different clutches used. I too have noticed the same thing that some are available and reasonable and some are crazy expensive. They all look pretty similar.
Guess we get spoiled working on the 67-81's where very little changed. |
