Rotten Floor Pan 83 Columbia D3
Just wandering what is everyone using for floor panels?
Is there a place to order them or just have someone make me one? Mine is about 40% rusted and rotten mainly around where the floor rivets to the front console. |

Re: Rotten Floor Pan 83 Columbia D3
One of my carts was like that. No one makes those that I have ever seen. I just took measurements to a metal shop and had them cut the right size. I used 1/8 inch steel then welded it onto the cart myself. They could have been bolted on too but I have a welder so that's s bit easier for me than drilling through metal a bunch of times. I undercoated everything when done. Worked great.

We took sheet metal and put over the floor pans. After removing the rust they were painted will oil based the covered with rustoleum bed coating. The coating is decent and will work but nothing like a line-x coating.
