Default 1989 Columbia par car self oiler

Just did top end rebuild on 89 par car. How do I know if my oiler is working right, went to adjust oiler and and I can't align marks on the oiler to factory specs because cable seems short. Would like to see pictures of carb to see if I have the carb set up right Thanks

The fact is, you don't really know if it's working properly. If you have the timing marks right then that's all you can do besides watch your oil level go down.

I haven't worked on one but the directions say to adjust the cables adjusting sleeve. It talks like the cable goes through the crankcase. Where does it go to? It doesn't sound to me like it goes to the carb.

Those pumps never worked well. Most folks just take them out and mix the gas manually. It's doesn't take much effort and you guarantee yourself the right mix.

What is the pre-mix ratio of gas and oil for 89 par car. Is it 80:1 mixture
