Default 95 Par Car Misfiring Issues

My 95 Columbia gas par car seems to be misfiring under load. When I take it down the street, it will make it almost all the way down the block running smoothly until it begins missing occasionally. The cart will suddenly slow down as if it misses a spark, "almost feels like a car when it's shifting hard". What could this be? I just put new piston rings, head gasket, and spark plug in. I also cleaned the carb. Any suggestions??

The coil is probably going bad.

I changed out the coil but something is still wrong. I left it out over the winter and now it won't start at all with a starting charger attached. Maybe timing? How do I get to the ignition timing module?

The ignition module should be at the end of the crankshaft where the fan is located. Should be a metal cover you have to take off. You may have to take the muffler off and a screen for the fan. I'm not sure exactly what your model looks like. What kind of coil did you put on it?
