serial number
I have a buddies columbia par car and i cannot find the serial number on this thing. I have looked at all the places i have read about and i can't seem to find a tag or anything stamped in the frame anywhere. There is a sticker by the driver seat that has some numbers and a letter on it. I would appreciate any help. Thanks

Re: serial number
Those numbers can be a few different places depending on the specific cart. Check out this page as it's a pretty good point of reference:

Re: serial number
The serial number is 2L-21406-DO. I can't seem to find the brake cables for it. The drivers side is around 40" and the passenger side is around 48". Here is a picture of the ends.

Re: serial number
I think that's a 1990? There is a guy here, Tech Support, who has access to Coumbia's database who will probably chime in and tell you for sure.
Until then, do some browsing here to see if you can't locate the right service and parts manuals: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/columbia-parcars/ Once you have the part numbers on any part you should he home free. Assuming you have a 1990 it looks like the part numbers you need are: 42400-89 (driver) 42401-89 (passenger) It looks like vintagegolfcartparts.com has them and the pics look rights. You may want to do some googling too. |

Re: serial number
Yea, thats looks like a 1990 4-Wheel Gas model P4G.
TechSupport can tell you exactly when it was made and where it shipped to. |

Re: serial number
I keep getting invited to these parties, but show up late.
That unit 2L-21406-D0 shipped from the plant 2/23/1990 to Cedar Valley Farms, Lena Country Club in IL. |
