Default 1995 Par Car no fuel in engine

The cart will not even try to start and the spark plug is dry. No fuel. I am getting plenty of fuel to the carb but it doesn't seem to be getting into the engine. I've taken the carb apart 3 times and cleaned it out with no luck. Any suggestions?

Full disclosure: I don't know there newer carts very well. That said, some of the basics would be the same:

I am assuming you checked your carb's fuel adjustments: the fuel adjusment screw is opened up enough and the float bowl level is adequate.

Make sure the reed valve between the carb and engine is good shape.

Cranks seals are always suspect in "no fuel getting the engine" problem.

You have the 2 stroke engine, right?

I've cleaned a carb 3 times and it's still clogged up. I gave up on it and bought one. You might be in the same boat as I was.

Try taking the breather off and spraying starting fluid in the carb while your cranking and see if it hits a lick.

I've checked the carb out and it seems fine. Replaced the reed valve also. Still no fuel in the engine. It is the 2 stroke and I have been unable to find a replacement carb.

Did you try spraying starting fluid in the intake to see if the engine hits?

What carb do you have on it, Walbro WHL-11? That is the carb I tried to clean with no luck.

I spraying starting fluid through the carb and still no luck. I also just replaced the Walbro carb with an 88 ezgo carb. Same results. Cylinder is bone dry. I did a compression check and it's 110.

Pull the plug out and lay it on the block so its grounded. Make sure the engine is grounded also. Then turn the engine over and see if the plug fires.

You have excellent compression and what should be a good enough spark. When you sprayed starting fluid in the intake it should have fired at least somewhat.

Did the engine just get a top end rebuild?

Do you feel air being pulled into the intake while your cranking?

I have not touched the engine. Not sure if the guy before me rebuilt it or not. It ran great last summer. I sprayed starting fluid in the cylinder and nothing. Now I have no spark either.....I have 12 volts on the positive side of the coil while cranking. I'm guessing I have 2 issues now.

I looked through the carb and its spraying fuel while cranking.

Should you feel a suction throughout the carb when cranking?
