VIN or Serial# help
Hello, Looking for info on a Columbia Par Car "scout or "utilitruk"
VIN# 8U 25040 Has a 9hp Briggs Vanguard engine Picture is of a almost identical cart but Maybe a little newer? |

Thank you but that doesnt seem to work either. The vin 8U works but the 25040 doesnt help me with the year. Unless im missing something?

25040 is the serial number. After the serial number is the year code but sometimes on the later models they are missing as in your case.
Since it has the 4 stroke it is a 96 or later model. |

The user Tech Support works at Columbia and can look up the serial number to get the year.
I did PM him for you so he will be around soon. |

Unfortunately, that's doubtful. Not being one of the "Big 3" (Club Car, EZGo, Yamaha) there just aren't enough Columbias to justify a company making lift kits for these carts.
Personally, I embrace the originality and enjoy driving carts that no one else has. |
