There is whole bunch of Vegascarts engine swaps in the clone section of big blocks. Love mine. Teknaspace is Veagascarts ebay site.The are some video also on facebook under vegascarts.

I had no idea that they were making those for Columbias.

25 HP. I think original motors had something like 8 HP? That thing has to scream. I'd be concerned about the differential going bad but so long as your were driving 30 mph everywhere you'd be ok. Looks like it would be a pretty easy install though.

With vegascarts doing the kit you can bet it has been tested fully. Do bear in mind this kit is for the 96 and up 4 stroke cart.

Recently did the Vegas Carts big block swap on a 96 Columbia. Really gets up and goes now. The swap was pretty smooth but did have to modify starter bracket and purchase a belt shorter than the kit belt to keep starter out of voltage reg. and wiring cluster. Have the 9 hp. Briggs for sale if anyone is interested. Has drive clutch, muffler and breather. Ran good, no smoke just wanted more power.
