How many clutch weights needed
I believe I have a 86 par car vin# 5k20110c6.
I would like to know how many clutch weights I should have in my primary clutch? Also where I can purchase some if I need to. Also if anyone knows of a good replacement carb for this cart. Thank you. |

Re: How many clutch weights needed
The parts manual shows that there should be 6 clutch weights in there.
Do a google for "columbia clutch weights" and you"ll get some hits regarding suppliers. |

Re: How many clutch weights needed
Regarding carbs, ones from 82 - 87 EZ Gos (Mikuni bv19 or bv24) will bolt right on there. Knock offs exist. You'll just need to swtich the choke lever on the new carb from one side to the other (takes 30 secs) and modify the choke cable bracket just a bit to to allow for the switched lever. Nothing to it.
