91 par car timing
My par car is kinda studdering at low speed and sometimes it back fires. I THINK the timing might be slightly off. How do I make sure it's where it should be. I figured I might advance or retard it a bit but I want to make sure it's where it should be first

Re: 91 par car timing
Your cart should have an electronic ignition module under the fan / oil pump mechanism. This would all be located under the mesh housing near the top of the engine.
Those modules really don't need timed as they deliver a super-long spark but it can't hurt to tweak it. Check out page 6 of this service supplement concerning the backfire: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/colum...UTILITRUCK.pdf There are couple of specific adjustments outlined to help out with that. |
