Eagle wont start
New to Site.
I recently picked up a gas Columbia Eagle that does not run. It appears to have been a used in the past as a security cart at a church. Found this number front passenger side 9E-35052-E5. Looks like it stopped running and got parked. Still had fuel, no key but ignition left in the on position. I put a new battery in, lights and horn works but I cannot get it to turn over when I depress the throttle. Should I started checking the throttle micro switch and or tracing power from where to where? I have a test light and a ohmmeter, still learning with the meter. |

Re: Eagle will not turn over
I tested the micro throttle switch and it appears to be good.
Looks like I need to test the ignition key switch. It does not have a key but is in the on position. After doing some searching, I found out how to remove the front clip to gain access to the ignition. Is there a particular test that needs to be done to the switch and if it test out ok, can I get a replacement key. Is there a solenoid that needs to be checked before the key switch. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |
