Par car Eagle flooding

Hello Alll

New to site, well here goes. Have a Par Car 1990 Eagle That started running slugish so I took the carb off and cleaned it out. It has a Columbia Deerfield WI Engine. It had no power when I put carb back on. So I pulled the plug only to find It dripping with gas. Pulled the bowl off and made sure the float was not sticking. float adjustment was not changed. Also not sure were to check timing?. Have book but seems limited in information. But not sure why it is flooding. I also hope to get to know every one. Well Have a good one. Starrwizard

Hi De Ho- Update on par car. started playing with the idel screw. It now starts but takes turning over 45 sec to a minute before it starts. pops a lot before it starts. So it still seems to flood a little before starting. ? If this were a briggs or auto engine fix in a Jiff. But not this strange motor. Starrwizard

i also have a par car mine was rough starting as well but then i had a issue with the ignition module. after i replaced the ignition module it starts up like a champ everytime. id check out the spark as well as all your carb settings.. if your looking at getting a new module send me a message i found a place that sells them very reasonable...
