1994 par car
Bought a 1994 par car and cannot get it to run. Have a new ignition coil and and wire. It wants to start when starting fluid is put into carb. Sputters then quits. Can smell gas and nothing is frozen on motor. What could be the issue? Does any one know where to get back seats for the par car?

Check the compression, starter fluid is very hot and an engine with low compression will try and start on it.
