Retro an EZ-GO or Club Car into it. I don’t know how the Parcar is mounted so you may need to do a little modifying to the mount.

Turn the key switch one way and go forward the turn it the other way and go backwards? They use solenoids for direction control. You can still retrofit a CC or EZ-GO F/R switch into your cart. The trick is knowing where to put the wires electrically.

You will need to know how to power the controller off another key or the exisitng key with other wires removed, and then you will need to know how the F/R switch works so you can incorporate it in place of the four-solenoid bank. You would not want your mod to cause an issue with the existing wiring so you would need to look for places power could feed back. This is a bit of an advanced move and I don’t want you to fry anything. Maybe fixing the existing reverse circuit with known diagrams is best at this point.

My fault, I was looking at topics unanswered, you posted on the correct forum page. The switch controls the starter motor direction, as you probably know. Doing a retrofit on this from EZ-GO or CC might be easier than I thought. What I don't know; does the switch control the starter motor directly or does it control relays that control the starter motor? Hopefully someone who knows this wiring for sure will chime in.

Hey Jeggers, we at Columbia ParCar have experienced a sourcing problem with those switches. Our vendor is not able to provide us with working replacements (the back either falls off, or the internal contacts fail). No, I don' thave a work around, but I included an attachment jpeg of the internal switch wiring and contact if it helps you come up with some optional wiring ideas.

Wow, thaks for the info, I have found them online for 85 to 110 and I would have been very disapointed if it failed, especialy since this one (to the best of my knlolege) has lasted 19 years.
