Default I think it needs crank seals

I have this Columbia Utilitruck, when I got it to run it ran ok nothing special but after about 2 hours it quit--period, the neighbor that I got it from said it needs crank seals. I bought them, anyone have experience in this job? Please tell me how to do it.

Is that bad????? There's not an optional engine for this cart since it runs backward for reverse. So what you mean is I'm going to have to pull the engine and just about tear it all the way down??? If that's the case I have an engine for sale all you have to do is get it running.LOL

Usually you leave motor in cart. Pull clutch, and flywheel. Just like changing seal in front wheel hub. Does it have points? Could also be the condenser breaking down when it gets warm.

Thanks BigBlock, I was hoping someone would tell me I could leave in the cart and work from there, would there be anything else that I can check? I haven't got into it yet waiting for more info before I dove in, I have the seals so I will go ahead and change them, it's an 85 model and I don't know if it has points or not. I would like to get it running but it is a cart that is planned for a 4X4 ATV running gear so I don't really want to invest alot of cash in this engine, when I do pull it out it's probably not worth much being 2 stroke. All help is greatly appreciated.
