Is the muffler in the back or on the front like the 3 wheeled harley carts? The harley you can find, the ones in the back on the par cars i have not seen, mine is a 90 and is still solid. Why di you want to replace it?

Don't know how much help i can be, but do you have a pic of the muffler? I tore a Par Car apart awhile ago, think the muffler is still around. Have no idea what year the cart is though...

well i started to change the crank shaft bearing and when i pulled the motor apart i noticed that the muffler has loose stuff on the inside. Also it was really really loud when was driven. the muffler is in front of the motor. It is really big has to brackets on the side the exhaust port is on the bottom right and on the side of the muffler is the pipe that goes in to the head.

is this it

also i would bake or burn out the muffler to remove the build up, and these carts are a little loud, how was the muffler gasket when you broke it down?

I have never seen that one on any of the parts sites. the noise could have been mostly from the gasket, I have had that problem. maybe you could add a second muffler like a resinator. i have been thinking of doing that.
