Got my new carb and it works!!! BUT..

I finally got my carb for my Columbia Par Car..Thanks to everyone who helped me find it..

I have installed it and got it going...but I think that it needs to be adjusted...runs rough...I have a hard time backing up...when I put it in reverse it takes quite awhile to reverse..like it wants to force...When i have it in forward it goes...but I have the pedal to the floor and it take some time to get speed...even then it's not real fast..sluggish...How do i adjust the carb..and if it is new does it need adjusting? Even on a very very small incline it takes it's time climbing...

Good new for me is I painted it..and for me it looks good enough for the camp..I wanted it balck and someone asked my "why black" I said 'why not" that is what I like and that is what I wanted.

Is there anything special I have to do with the carb??
