What year is my Parcar?

Hello, I just picked up a parcar in mint condition, except the motor and the guy said it was a early 90's model but Im not sure, so I have the vin# its 2L-21851-D4 can anybody tell the year? thanks. also where could I find a engine that would fit, OEM or a different one? he put a gas 6.5 HP piece of junk on, goes about 2 MPH, LOL and has no reverse, but he did give me the starter gen for it.

Hi, just registered on here, and got my first cart a few days ago (Columbia ParCar 6-seater... have 4 kids aged 5 & under), and was trying to find some info on it, as I need to do some front suspension work to it. It looks like someone hit something and bent the wheel in a bit. Drives but is wearing the tires out on the sides.

Anyways, I found a number on what appears to be a starter... says VIN NO. 3M20100

Am I looking in the right place, or is that the number for the part, not the cart?

I'm new to par car also, I found mine by lifting the cover behind seat and it was on the drivers side right above the rear wheel, on a silver tag. hope that helps

Yes, it did help... as the VIN I saw was not on the starter, but by the wheel. so I'm guessing (after looking at the charts online) that mine's a 1993 model (3M)

Elkins, You're missing the last two digits. The full VIN is 3M-20100-D2. It's a 1992 C6G, making it a 92 Gas Shuttle. The manuals are at www.buggiesgonewild.com/columbia-parcars
