Default I need a sledge hammer..feel like smashing it

To everyone who has helped me i am very greatful to all...I am still having problems...I was asked to get some video..but couldn't as the cart didn't want to move...again!!! I am at a stand still...there is no one in my area to help me...(Upstate Plattsburgh NY ) and i really think it may be time to just sell it...

This weekend i put a new spark plug..cause there was no spark...I also put on a new coil...I have pictures...if anyone is willing to buy it...here is what I have put into it..

New rebuilt motor (installed last may)
New carb (installed this June)
New coil and spark plug. (installed yeasterday)
New lights. Never used..did NO night time driving.
windsheild
recovered the seats.
painted the cart. ( not a pro but it looks better then before)
muffler is not new but it has been weilded.
I have pictures of the motor and of the cart...I have no idea what I can get I so far to date have spent just over $2000. I am just a pensioner and i can't keep sinking money into this. for someone who has the time and the knowledge to repair golf carts this would probably be very easy. Just my luck it will cost the next owner $2.00 to fix what I have been trying to do since 2009. my email address is ...... sandra.martin@primus.ca

If anyone is interested in seeing more pictures and information Please don't hesitate to contact me

Once again A HUGE Thank you to all who has taken the time to help me.

Sorry to hear you are still having trouble. I'm not sure I would give up and let somebody else benefit from the final repair... what about the ignitor? Are you able to test or replace that?

Do not sell your cart! An 82 is not difficult to work on. I have a 1976 model which is not that far from your own. PM me your e-mail and I will send some trouble shooting info I try to sell on E-bay at times and I'm sure it will help. I don't think an 82 has an ignitor I think it has a standard point ignition system. The point system is hard for some people to understand but my info will help. You will have to be just a little mechanicaly inclined but I still think it will help.

Sandra sorry to hear you're still having problems, but I'm glad to hear you found someone to work on it. If I had known you were over in Plattsburgh, NY I might have made a trip over to look at it. I'm in Northern Vermont probably a 3 hour drive to you. Longer if I don't take a ferry. Haven't done that in years.

There is a cart specialist in Burlington, VT so if your guy comes up empty you might want to see if this guy knows someone close to you or if he would work on it. I'll try to find his information and add it to this post. With the baby taking up almost all my time I haven't had a chance to do much for my own carts either.

Be good and put that hammer away before you hurt someone.
