Suggestions please. par car shuttle gsxr 1000.
I would like to see what anyone thinks of this cart and set up. I would love to hear some suggestions for a custom build. Anyways, I have a columbia par car shuttle with the og. 2 stroke engine. It runs but the cart will only go 4-5 mph and if there is any extra weight it is even slower. I have the option of installing a 2006 gsxr 1000 engine. I have ideas on how to do it, but I will need help with alot of fabrication and wiring. I guess what I would like to know is how much power can I get from the stock engine? because if I can get it going fast enough to cruise around glamis on the sand highway I would be happy. The gixxer engine is almost complete I just need to get throttle bodies, and it will be good to go. I will try to post some pics to give you guys a good idea of what I am working with. Please I will consider all suggestions, so just let em fly. Thanks,

If the original engine and clutches are good you should get 18 to 20 MPH.

The clutches are good. the engine seems good but I think the carburetor needs work. ( runs but will not accelerate very well.. )
Even if it were running to its full potential, i will have 4 people riding in it through sandy terrain. so I think I will need the extra Power... I will try some pics again... |

Contact rifter here, he's done several bike engine swaps and is the man when it comes to this. Nice cart and would be a bad lil bugger with a gixer motor in it.
