88 Par Car no spark, Electronic Ign
88 Par Car no spark
I know the coil is good because it will spark when I cycle the key. When I removed the oil pump and cover, there was a little magnet loose in there. There is a cam lobe on the end of the crank but it doesn't come anywhere close to the pickup coil. I don't see where the magnet came from either. Can anyone tell me what's missing to trip the pickup? (Pic's enclosed) Thanks all, Mud Edit; after further digging I discovered there is supposed to be a rotor in there but I see NO signs of any destroyed parts or ANYTHING on the ground or on the chassis that has fallen off or apart (wtf???) Anyone know where I can get a new rotor? |
