I am trying to find any information I can on a sears golf cart. It has a model number of 809 656770. It is a 36 volt electric cart. It runs fine but needs some body repair. Any info any of you could give me would be appreciated. Thanks !!!

Re: Need sears golf cart identification help
Thanks for the link to the thread. I think mine is newer than that cart but I cant find any info on reading the model number. If it is like my Harley cart it is probably a 1970 but I don't know for sure.

Yes it does. I knew that the carts were manufactered by some one else and sold by Sears. Would you happen to have any info on the year of that cushman ? That would give me a good starting point. Thank you !

Re: Need sears golf cart identification help
Yes it is wired like the 36V 732 and it looks a lot like the rear cart in the pic other than I have no roof and no longer have the main body steel trim/bumper. And of course mine has no Cushman badges, only a model number tag with the Simpsons Sears Ltd name on it. This info will make finding diagrams and parts much less stressful !!! There are a lot more resources for Cushman than Sears. Luckily the previous owner took great care of all but the body so a new floor mat and some body work is all it needs for now. I thought it was a pretty cool little cart and it definitely gets some looks.
I really appreciate every ones help and would still appreciate any list of resources or info any one may have. |
