Par car engine rebuild
I'm thinking about rebuilding my engine. I do not know if it is the stock bore or not yet it only has 50 psi but how big should I bore it? I have seen piston kits from 10 to 70 over. Also should I put new reeds in it? Will I need to rejet the carb if I go big?

Re: Par car engine rebuild
You might check first! When I worked on early 2 cycle motorcycles we figured to wear out 3 ring sets before we had to re-bore. You probably just need to replace the rings.

The piston size is marked on top of the piston. No marking means a standard bore.
