Default Urgent help please guys

Hey guys I got a 1990 Columbia par car that I just replaced the carby on it.
Now it hasn't been ran for a while so I thought I would pull the plug out and wind it over to get fuel up and oil through motor.
All good fuel shows In filter and winds over.
Put plug in and it went to start and died quickly.
Then tried to start again and now t wot get fuel up in filter.
I pulled the fuel pump hose off and it is getting the pulses from engine.
What does anyone think it could be?
It's a brand new carby I bolted on. I have the screw 1/2 a turn out from all the way In.
What are peoes thoughts on why this would happen or what it could be?

Thanks guys

I think I may have fixed it. Can someone show or tell me where the throttle cable attaches to on the bracket of the throttle shaft?

Does it go to the hole at the back of the bracket ?

Ouch. That clutch is past toast. Just rebuilt one for an Argo 6x6 here a while ago.
Do you have a pic of the engine compartment as a whole? Something not to far away.
If you can put up two shots, one from each side of what you can see when your standing and looking at the engine that may help a tad on seeing some of your issues.
I myself am not real fermilure with the Par Car but that cable that is hooked to the carb, does it go directly to the foot peddle? I believe there should be a cable/linkage from the Gov. to the carb. the main foot cable should be attached to the Govs arm. I don't recall ever seeing a return spring on the carb's linkage on a cart.
I would still make sure the engine runs prior to a clutch rebuild. One thing at a time.
So you resolved the no fuel no start issue then. ?!?.
Here is a pic of the one I just rebuilt. Same style clutch.

Just found this on Ebay and it covers the 1982 - 1991 Par car, Harley and some others. If you google it you will find it fits a few other things.
Yours has less of an incline and might just need a rebuild kit.

Thanks dewzer,
It does drive I took it for a run yesterday after getting the carby going.
It did lack speed though I thought.
I don't think this has a governor on it as there is only the throttle cable and choke cable.
Yes the throttle cable comes from the carby to the plate that the one runs from pedal to.

Here is some pics of my engine
