Re: Gap between carb and air filter adapter
Look on page H-4 of this manual:
http://products.jacobsen.com/img/manuals/605586.pdf There is the exploded view of the airbox. You may just have something out of alignment. |

Re: Gap between carb and air filter adapter
It appears to me that # 5 may be missing. Where do I get a BOM for this assembly?
Thanks, Wayne |

Re: Gap between carb and air filter adapter
That is a baffle. Not sure but you may have to go to shopezgo.com to get that piece. Can you get another pic that may better show the space and maybe the inside where the baffle is missing? It appears that it isn't seating and I'm not sure the baffle is whats causing that since it goes inside the flange not between the flange and carb face.
BTW...."BOM" whats that? |

Re: Gap between carb and air filter adapter
BOM is bill of materials. In this case "parts list" might be more appropriate. It looks to me that the 4 metal spacers are too long. Do you happen to know the approximate thickness of the baffle?

Re: Gap between carb and air filter adapter
If the baffle is 1/8" or more thick and the holes will clear the 3/8" od of the metal spacers, I think that will cure the issue. However the pic on the EZ GO web site looks to be thinner than that. I will try to call the local ez go dealer tomorrow.
Thanks again! |
