Default Buying a Carb on Ebay?

Just bought a EZGO 1999 TXT and after doing trouble shooting, has spark, has fuel to carb, and you guessed it, carb it plugged from being stored. Went on Ebay and seen rebuild kits for $40 or buy a whole new Carb for $38 shipped. Are these Carbs any good as this one here on the Ebay, thinking about just slapping one on to see what I have got going here.

eBay item number:121250124052

You can pick up a gallon can of carb cleaner, the one with the basket in it and break your carb down. Soak it overnight and blow it out then reassemble. That's what I would try. Now you can get the eBay one and you'll be fine. You need to know which engine you have. Either the 295 or 350 which will be stamped on the engine.

Look around on the side where the carb is and see if you can see the stamping. May be EC35 or EC29. 350 or 295 respectively.
