Default ST 4x4- 2 speed transmission/tranfer case?

I know nothing about any ATV/UTV's etc. I do own a 2004 EZGO ST 4x4 and was wanting to know if it's possible to replace the transmission/transfer case with a two speed (hi-lo) one. We have some hills around the ranch here that it would be nice to shift into low to save the brakes and to increase performance both going uphill and down.
Thanks

Coram makes an affordable transmission/transfer case that has a high, low, and reverse. You would need to modify mounts, shifter and yokes but it looks possible, they run about $500, look on ebay. Not a weekend project!

Guys, thanks for the replies. This is a good start!! I like the Coram idea, hummmm!

Any one done this yet? If so don't be shy, any advice? I don't need to reinvent the wheel here :-)
