robin EH35C low on compression
I checked compression and both cyl were about 60 psi.I have adjusted valves and same thing.Its not smoking or using oil but it wont hardly run and backfiring thru carb.the only thing that comes to mind is blown head gasket or timing issue.any help will be appreciated

You could try pouring a little oil into each cylinder and rechecking the compression. 60 is very low. The backfiring could be caused by other issues but sounds like the first problem is low compression.

That is LOW compression.Ditto on trying some oil.Was something done to this engine lately.With what little info we have here it certainly sounds like cam timing.
