Does my Driven Clutch work correctly?
Just got my first cart. It is a 1996 TXT with a 295 Robins. I was looking at a youtube video and noticed the driven clutch expanded out at higher RPM. The other day I ran my wide open when on jacks and did not see that clutch open at all. Is that something that can be repaired or do I need a new clutch? Any help would be appreciated as I am just learning how these work. Thanks!!

I'm not super familiar with that years clutch but it could probably use a removal and a good clean and lube job. You can inspect for issues during that process.

Re: Does my Driven Clutch work correctly?
It's physics. If the drive clutch closes (gets taller) then the driven clutch has to open (get smaller) or the belt wouldn't fit.... so maybe (I'm not sure) your drive clutch never closed?
