Oil Leaking
I've got an oil leak somewhere... There's oil in the air filter housing. Pulled the housing off in front of the carb and there's all sorts of things that look "rigged" up. It looks like there's a breather hose that's clamped on to the front part of the crankcase. It sits right below the carb. The hose wasn't even connected. Just laying there. Anyone know if this cause oil to get caked on the front side??? I mean the cart is 22 yrs old... Noticed oil on the driveway but can't pinpoint the exact source Of the leak. Any ideas?

Re: Oil Leaking
What you are pointing at is the crank case breather. Normally routed to the air filter box. Is the cart lifted? If so, then you need to drain the oil completely and put exactly 1.5 qts, no more or it will spit it back through that breather and into the air box. I would encourage you to consider closing off the carb with a ziplock bag and rubber bands and thoroughly degreasing the engine to truly see where the leak is coming from.

Re: Oil Leaking
Yes, the cart is lifted, we've had it for five years and never had any issues with it until now. Brother took it out for a two hr ride, came back and oil had leaked out all over the driveway. It's defini low, but not empty. We will try degreasing and investigate further. Thanks!
