Reverse Beeper Won't Shut Off
Started my 1990 ezgo for the third time coming out of Winter. As I backed up the beeper did its usual thing. As I moved the lever to forward, the beeper continued. I drove it around the block and it continued to blare. I then removed the battery to check it and charged it to 100%. As soon as the cables were hooked up again, the blaring continued. Is there a possible issue with a "contact" being stuck? I read that the "beeper" is right behind the key panel. I don't need the beeper, but would like advice on how to disconnect and possibly fix if easy enough. Cart runs quite well.
Thanks KingB84 |

Re: Reverse Beeper Won't Shut Off
They have a switch next to the linkage for the direction changing gear. Check that switch to see if it is either stuck or finally fried.
