Default Help wiring 1990 2 stroke

I need a little help. I bought a 1990 ezgo 2 stroke that was completely disassembled. The guy had the frame powder coated then gave up on the project. I have started reassembly and want to fire up the engine before I get to far to make sure it runs. I am to the point of hooking up all of the wiring and can't get it right. I have been through the stickies and can't find a schematic that is for this year /model. I have found some that look close but don't have the colors of the wire and tell me to see the operation and service manual for a full diagram, which I can't find. The manufacture code is H2590 if that helps.

Thanks.

This should do it for you. As far a color of wires, etc., it is possible that over the years anyone could have swapped wires and not retained the same color. If it were me, I wouuld take my volt meter and using the schematic, verify each circuit is going to the correct component and will ohm thru (not broken). The wire doesn't know what color it is passing current through. You could take pieces of tape and tag each one as you go so you don't get confused.

I think I got it figured out. Reverse alarm being on all the time was the thing. Micro switch was being moved by FNR, just not far enough. It's turning over when it should now and has spark. Now to get some fuel to her. Thanks for the help!
