ec25ds robin engine won't stay running
hello everyone, am new to the forum but need some help.
I bought a 78 if I read it right e-z go with a robin ec25ds internal starter engine. electrical is all good. but I can't keep the engine running. suggestions ? I am running 93 octane at 120:1 is this bad? |

More details on how long it is running, and how easy it is to start would help.
The compression ratio isn't high enough to justify 93 octane. You are wasting your money there. |

Starts just fine, runs for maybe 20 or 30 seconds. I may not have had the compression tester on tight enough, but it only went to about 90
|

Starting fine, and running for 30 seconds sounds like it is running out of fuel.
I would change the fuel filter, and take the fuel pump apart for a good cleaning. |

This is the inside of the pump. Make sure it goes back together the right way.

thank you ! I will work on it this weekend. do you know what size the exhaust studs are, to fit the pipe. one of the studs is gone and I would like to put a heli-coil in so I can use a bolt.

8mm, but drill and tap to 3/8-16 US would be easier than fixing the threads

Ok fuel pump is all fixed, carb is clean and she runs! At about half throttle is as far as it will go after that it just sputters. It seems to me it should be faster, am I missing something ?
