Re: 1989 dies when hot
I was going to set up with a dial indicator to check it . Can you get the bearings and seals from a local bearing house if so what is the C R part number for seals ? Are there any special tools to split the case's ? I am a retired HD mechanic . Had several American made Harley 2strokes the cart motor seems very smiler back in the 60's looking forward to working on the engine.

Re: 1989 dies when hot
Threebond 1184 is what I use on case halves.
1194/1104 were the earlier formulations. You need three of the 6206 bearings. You can use the 2rs versions, cheaper, and pluck the seals out. $5-10/ea depending on country of manufacture. |

Re: 1989 dies when hot
Thanks for the info that is what I used just could not remember. I have the bearings found them on ebay for 8 dollars each. Waiting for the seals and gaskets to come. Will probably pull it apart next week. Has any one built a puller to split the cases?
