I have a 99 ezgo gas, i rebuilt the driven clutch everything new on the inside, i may have put more than 140 degrees overload when i put i back together. Will that cause the drivenclutch to slip ??..

Re: driven clutch
If you went more than 140 degrees then you may have a problem. The preload that you put on it at 140 degrees causes the clutch to be forced to stay closed longer which allows the engine to rev higher thereby giving you more bottom end torque. If you load it too much then it will want to stay closed possibly to the point that the belt could slip. Now the other possibility is that your belt is worn. It needs to measure 1 3/16" wide or it will slip.
